Help & trust

Safety tips

Most local deals are straightforward. A few careful checks can help you recognise pressure, protect your account and meet more safely.

Before you agree

  • Keep early conversations in KASH so the advert and discussion stay connected.
  • Compare the price and description with similar adverts. Be cautious when an offer feels designed to rush you.
  • Ask practical questions about condition, ownership and what is included.

Payments and account safety

  • Never share passwords, one-time codes or card verification codes.
  • Do not follow payment or delivery links sent by a stranger. Open the provider yourself from its official app or website.
  • KASH does not currently provide checkout, escrow or delivery. Do not trust claims that KASH is holding your money.

Meeting locally

  • Meet in a public, well-lit place when practical and tell someone where you are going.
  • Inspect an item before paying and check serial numbers or proof of ownership for higher-value goods.
  • Leave if you feel pressured or the item differs from the advert.

Jobs

  • A genuine employer should explain the role, company and selection process clearly.
  • Do not pay a fee to apply, buy mandatory equipment from the recruiter or send banking credentials.
  • Signing in confirms account control; it does not verify a person’s legal identity or trader status.
